You only have to try them for now; you do not have to commit them to your routine. This will help you learn which muscles get worked on by each exercise. If you want your body to undergo specific changes, learning which exercise does what will help you plan a proper workout to ensure that you see the results you want to see. Think about it: if you want to build up the muscles in your arms, you don’t want to do a bunch of exercises meant to develop your legs! Learning what needs to be done and the best methods of doing it are steps you need to ensure that you use your time wisely and don’t accidentally get hurt.
